Why this site exists

As a Santa Cruz resident, I built this site to solve a problem for my own family. It's genuinely hard to find one place with a concise listing of everything going on around the county. There isn't a single site that brings it all together in an easy-to-navigate format — which meant we missed things. A lot.

So I set about consolidating listings from as many sources as I could find, deduplicating where possible, and presenting them in one clean view. I hope you find it as useful as we do.

A few usage notes

Always check directly with the venue before heading out. The title of each listing links directly to the source — often to the venue's own page or the specific event listing — so it's easy to verify details.

Things change. Weather, illness, last-minute cancellations, and a hundred other reasons can cause events to be moved or cancelled. This site shows whatever has been published by the source at the time of the last update. Don't rely on this as the final word.

About the sources

All 17 sources are publicly available websites and calendars. The pipeline fetches, normalises, and deduplicates listings automatically each day. Where the same event appears on multiple sources, they are collapsed into a single listing with all sources credited.

Privacy & analytics

This site uses Umami — an open-source analytics platform built with privacy in mind. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal data collected. GDPR-compliant out of the box. We collect only basic aggregate data: page views and general referrer information. We don't sell data, we don't advertise, and there's nothing to sign up for.
